A Look at 2022 in Books so Far
Long-time no … blog? I know it’s been some months since I posted my last blog post (My 2021 Reading Recap). But nonetheless, here I am four months later with my 2022 reading recap so far!
As mentioned in that previous post, I am aiming to read 13 books in 2022 but I’m less focused on the number of books I’m reading and rather on what I’m getting out of them.
My more specific reading goals this year are:
- Read more diverse books
- Learn more about the world through reading
- Enhance my vocabulary
With that said, here are the nine books I’ve read in 2022 thus far.
Franny and Zooey by J. D. Salinger
Like Me by Hayley Phelan
My Year of Rest and Relaxation by Ottessa Moshfegh
Before the Coffee Gets Cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi
Forever by Maggie Stiefvater
The Housekeeper and the Professor by Yōko Ogawa
The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
God in Pink by Hasan Namir
My favourites so far are Before the Coffee Gets Cold and The Housekeeper and the Professor.

Until next time!
