I first read Just Kids by Patti Smith several years ago after seeing the cover plastered all over my Instagram feed. I was hooked. I have read the book several times since initially reading it, along with getting into her other pieces of work and her music.
Anne White and I met earlier in October at an Indigo in Hamilton where she was promoting her children’s book, The Cat Who Thought He Was a Mouse.
On Thursday, May 7, 2020 I decided to film a work day in my life (quarantine edition).
There is no denying that I have put my blog on the back burner for the past couple of months. My last blog post was in August, and it’s now November.
Although there are still a few days left of August 2019 (I’m holding onto summer with everything I have), I’ve already started to reminisce on all the books I have read this past month.
Now, reading the title of this blog post I know what you’re thinking, ‘Paige, July is almost over and you’re just putting out your summer reading list now!’
I launched this website, Preserve Your Words, back in August of 2018 and it has dawned on me that I have never explained the meaning behind the name. So, that is exactly what I am going to do in this blog post.
