Another year has come and gone, but now it is 2020 (that feels so weird to type) and it seems as if most people have already released their New Year’s resolutions into the world. Now, I am going to be no different as this blog post will reveal my New Year’s reading resolution.
There is no denying that I have put my blog on the back burner for the past couple of months. My last blog post was in August, and it’s now November.
Although there are still a few days left of August 2019 (I’m holding onto summer with everything I have), I’ve already started to reminisce on all the books I have read this past month.

I can honestly say I have only been a serious poetry reader for about three years now. Before then, I could never really get into it, nor did I understand the point. Mind you, I never gave poetry a fair chance for me to understand it. Luckily, that did change.
