Although there are still a few days left of August 2019 (I’m holding onto summer with everything I have), I’ve already started to reminisce on all the books I have read this past month.

I can honestly say I have only been a serious poetry reader for about three years now. Before then, I could never really get into it, nor did I understand the point. Mind you, I never gave poetry a fair chance for me to understand it. Luckily, that did change.

I love reading (shocker) but sometimes I hate reading. Okay, maybe that’s an exaggeration but there are definitely times when the last thing I want to do is crack open a book and read a chapter.
